To promote the gathering
and spreading of knowledge about the Napoleonic era'. This is, in a few
words, the goal for which in 1995 the Napoleonic Association of the
Netherlands (NAN) was raised.
The NAN is an umbrella organisation for Dutch and Belgian re-enactment
groups. Re-enactment is best translated as Living History.
The NAN strives to organise one or two major
events in the Netherlands and/or Belgium every year. Every of these
events is executed according to pre-arranged scripts.
Besides its Living History component, the NAN also strives to provide
historical advice and to facilitate historical research for individuals
as well as corporations and institutes. If you have any questions, you
can participate in our forum. |
